Die neue speziell für den Einsatzbereich Rennvelo konzipierte HOPE Disc hat abgerundete Kanten, damit auch die Strassenprofis und die UCI-Funktionäre langsam aber Sicher ihre absolut unbegründete Abneigung gegen Scheibenbremsen und deren ganz klaren Vorteile aufgeben müssen.
Professional road riders have been voicing concerns over the summer regarding the safety of disc brakes on road bikes and the UCI went to the length of suspending their trials in the Pro Peloton. Although Hope feel that there isn t really a safety issue, they have developed a new road specific rotor to allay any fears from riders.
The new round floating rotors are available in 160mm and Hopes usual six colours. The edge of the rotor is machined with a radius on the outer edge (ROE). disc160mm
